Ingrid received her Master of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University of Philadelphia in 1989.
Prior to this she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carleton College in 1985.
While in PT school I realized a successful physical therapist treats not only the current injury, but also its underlying causes. This has led me to study a wide variety of manual, exercise and movement re-education techniques and this allows me to customize my care to each patient.
Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska I have a long history with the cold weather sports of nordic, alpine and telemark skiing, as well as ice skating. Other recreational pursuits I enjoy include, hiking and backpacking, yoga, road biking, rollerblading and gardening.
I thoroughly enjoy my volunteer work with the Seattle Public Schools.
I am a co-owner of Sound Physical Therapy.
