Darren received his Bachelor of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 1999. Prior to this he earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington in 1996.

Personal Information

Darren is a Washington native, hailing from Spokane but has called Seattle home off and on since 1992. He has been working in outpatient orthopedics his entire career. Darren is married with two children and enjoys spending family time at his cabin on the Hood Canal disconnecting from the trappings of city life. Darren is excited to be joining the Sound Physical Therapy team, allowing him to continue to work and treat patients in his own neighborhood of West Seattle.

Philosophy of Care

Darren considers himself a facilitator of optimal movement and function. He believes the best way to do this is through good communication and teamwork with the patient. Darren utilizes an eclectic approach to address musculoskeletal dysfunction and injuries through joint and soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education.
